Student Exchange to Gyoengsang National University, South Korea – I am Rahadiyanto Tri Wibowo, a student from the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Management, IPB University, Class of 2020. In the 8th semester, from February to June 2024, I had the opportunity to participate in a student exchange program held at Gyeongsang National University (GNU Spring Program), South Korea.
During the student exchange program, I enrolled in several courses including Global Business English, International Cooperation in Agriculture, Intercultural Communication and Global Etiquette, Farm Practice, and Crop Research, totaling 10 credits. I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience throughout the program. Apart from classroom learning, I also had the chance to join field trips to several cities to learn about Korean culture and history. Specifically in the Global Business English course, I studied business planning, business communication, and presentation techniques in front of investors.
For me, having the opportunity to participate in the student exchange program was one of the most valuable experiences during my college years. This is because besides acquiring knowledge, I was able to expand my network with professors and fellow international students from various countries, which will undoubtedly be very beneficial for me after my campus life.
